C1 D12 R2

Still, not feeling well. I did drink my lemon water this mornning and a Green Tea...that was all I could handle.

I did stop and get a McD's S/F Vanilla Ice Coffee....I know its not allowed on Cycle 1...but I thought at least it would be some calories and it would feel good on my throat. I promised myself I would eat dinner, even if I didn't have a appetite.

Dinner: Chicken Breast, Corn (not allowed in Cycle 1) with that Grill-mate seasoning on it...GREAT... and a tomato with some truvia on it..because this time of year tomatoes are not very sweet. Green Tea

If you can imagine it, you can create it. If you dream it, you can become it.

Cycle 2 Day 11

I also jumped on the scale again today...(I think I was worried about eating out) I lost another pound. I am now down 15.5 lbs.

Another day of shopping, this time with hubby. I had a big breakfast and it was very filling, and I thought I would be home to eat something before 2...well, that didn't happen. So I only had one serving of fruit today.
Breakfast: Oatmeal with strawberries with some Truvia on the top and green tea

Lunch: I did eat a Mike's Power Cookie when I did get home..after 2..but I was sooooooo hungry.

Dinner: Stir-Fry with shrimp and a slice of tomato with some cottage cheese.

Snack: Yogurt with some flax-seed stirred in...and some EVVO. I am hoping the flax-seed will help with my hot-flashes. Over all this diet had made me feel so much better. My joints don't hurt like they used to. And my intake of Advil is WAY DOWN.

Cycle 2 Day 4

Dr Mike's Cookies
I made these today. I didn't have vegetable spray..so I used olive oil spray..and I had the rack in the oven set in the middle. They baked to fast...they got a little more brown then I would have liked and they didn't even bake 15 minutes. I am going to correct these issues on the next batch and see if I have better results. Even with the problems I had, I liked the taste and I feel like I am getting a treat. It will be great when I am on days...something to grab for breakfast when I am in a hurry.

I had a hard boiled egg and a few slices of turkey when I came home from work this morning. I also had to eat one of the cookies when I made them when I got up. This is the day I switch over shifts, so it is a little hard to fit all my food into today...but I am not going to worry about it.

I also purchased some flavored green tea...today I tried the peach green tea...AWESOME...I didn't even need to add Truvia this time.

Our all white dinner...lucky I had a colorful plate.

Dinner: Cauliflower, cottage cheese and turkey tenderloin. It tasted better then it looked!

Snack: Yogurt

Cycle 1 Day 14

C1D 14 I am down 10 lbs and hubby is down 15. I actually like getting on the scale. Did I just say that? Maybe by summer I can say I actually like trying on swimsuits. A girl can dream right? I can honestly say the only time I find myself hungry is if I stay up late at night...my stomach lets me know it wants something. I just watched a video on YouTube from Dr. Mike, saying this is the time to eat a little protein. So I will try that or just go to bed earlier.
Breakfast: I decided to make a omelet with my new pan I purchased at Bed Bath & Behind. It really does a good job and easy clean up. I made two omelets...one for work tonight...I am a shift worker and I start nights this week. I hope my weight loss continues..its hard to eat at a scheduled time when you days and nights are opposite. Don't you just love the little egg on the pan...puts a smile on my face when I use it...what a better way to start the day!
Breakfast: Omelet-tomato-onions-red pepper-mushroom-spinach topped off with salsa, yogurt and green tea
Snack: Red Grapes
Lunch: I was craving a sandwich. So I used a big romaine lettuce as my bread..added some turkey and tomoates and FF 1000 Island Dressing (that was all I had)  I folded it like taco shell and ENJOYED...I did not even miss the bread. I also cut up a peach...Yum Yum! I also tried my green tea iced...and I gotta say...I like it even better...of course I still had to add the Truvia
Dinner: We tried the riced cauliflower pizza...It needs a little work...I need to use a pizza pan or a stone and to make the crust thicker. Other then that...it tasted GREAT..I could not even tell that it was a cauliflower crust. I felt guilty eating it.

Cycle 1 Day 13

C1D13 Down 9lbs for me and 13.5lbs for hubby

I love weekends, because I can take the time to make my fruit look really pretty. I also tried green tea again...this time adding some truvia to it. I had to add two packets to it to make it something that I could drink. Maybe as I get used to the taste I can cut it down to one packet.  Dr Mike did say that we can use as much truvia as we want. I just don't want to encourage my sweet tooth. I think I will brew a cup and then chill it...and add ice to it...and see if I like it better as a ice beverage
This was my lunch. I made it in right before 2 pm....I was shopping this morning and it went longer then I expected. I did not want to go out to eat for lunch so I waited till I got home.
Dinner: Spinach Salad: Spinach, mushroom, yellow tomatoes, red pepper, cucumber. We added canned chicken(for convenience reasons)...first time trying it...kind of tastes like tuna to me. I made my dressing with my friendly fat: Olive oil, rice vinegar, Dijon mustard with one pkg of truvia

Breakfast : 2 egg omelet with some hot  pico de gallo added to it for some spice, and a yogurt.
